Full programmable plug-in replacement for the Delphi controller as used on 2001 to present Twin Cam models. This robust alpha-N (Throttle position and RPM based) fuel control eliminates problems with long duration/high overlap camshafts. The TwinTec TCFI kit includes a wide-band exhaust gas oxygen (WEGO) sensor interface that allows auto-tuning during actual on-road riding condition. The user simply programs a table with the desired air/fuel ratio’s, and the system than does the rest. The TCFI has the same ignition control as TwinTec’s TC88 ignition control module, providing fully programmable advance curves. Idle air control including idle RPM and cold start characteristics are also fully programmable. This facilitates the use of throttle bodies modified for higher airflow. These Generation IV controllers give full support for the J1850 data bus or CAN bus (used for communications with the turn signal/security module and instrument cluster as used on 2004 and later models).
