The OEM air cleaner insert was a rigid aluminum plate but is obsolete since long. This reproduction is a brushed aluminum vinyl decal that bonds on your old faded aluminum plate.

Note: 2007-2015 European Softail models, 2007-2016 European Dyna models and 2007 European Touring models are equipped with an Active Intake Sensor that must be removed when installing an aftermarket air cleaner. When you install a ZPN702022 “Trick-Box”, which is a plug-in module for the stock wiring harness, you avoid a warning light coming on at your dash.
