Wasp style narrow Mustang gas tanks for custom applications that have a great vintage look. Made from precision steel stampings and tig welded, these tanks hold 2.2 Gal (8.4 Liter) and have a 3/8 NPT right center petcock opening, as well as rear left and right 1/4 NPT connections. Universal brackets make it easy to mount it to any stock or custom frame. Available in a single or dual bung version, where the left filler is a dummy and uses old school cam lock type gas caps.

GAS TANKS The zinc-chromate primer finish on some of our tanks is provided for the protection of the tanks during shipment and storage. It is not recommended as a primer finish for paint applications without proper surface preparation. As with any fuel tank, particularly one where custom paint is to be applied, all tanks must be pressure tested, then cleaned with tank cleaner and sealed with tank sealer before painting, to protect the final finish and prevent internal rust during winter storage. Fuel capacity is measured with tank in upright position, angle of parked bike will determine actual capacity of the fuel tank.
