To reduce heat transfer to intake air these kits come with a high-strength synthetic polymer backing plate, a washable cotton gauze filter element and stainless steel hardware.

Note: European Softail 2007-2015, European Dyna 2007-2016 & European Touring 2007 are equipped with an Active Intake Sensor that must be removed when installing an aftermarket air cleaner. When you install a ZPN 702022 “Trick-Box”, which is a plug-in module for the stock wiring harness, you avoid a warning light coming on at your dash.
