These transmission cases for Softail 1986-1999 are designed to be the strongest on the market with extra case thickness and full support gussets where needed. Cases are cast from A356 aluminum in CNC machined permanent molds and heat treated to T6 specifications and then fully machined on a state-of-the-art CNC horizontal machining center. Accepts electronic speed sensor. For those who do not want to use the electronic speedo sensor a plug and O-ring seal are available. Bearings, dowel pins and mounting studs are not included.
