Gears and shafts are made by Andrews as a direct replacement for the coarse gears used on 1991-1995 American Domestic Sportster and 1991-1993 HDI International Export Sportster models for the European market.

First speed gears: Only available as a Close Ratio set for 1991-2003 models. These gears add 7 MPH (slightly over 11 km/h), consequently closing the large gap between first and second gear ratios. Sorry, to date there are no gears for 2004-2005 models. 

Second, third, fourth and fifth speed gears: When you have to replace one of them in 1996-2003 American Domestic Sportster, 1994-2003 HDI Sportster or any Buell model you have to replace the gears on both the main and counter shaft. This is because stock gears are the late style high-contact type and all replacement gears are the early style coarse type. Sorry, to date there are no gears for 2004-2005 models.
