Bobbed gas tank takes 4.0 US Gallon (15 liters) and has a left side petcock bung. The tank has an upper length of 47cm, bottom length 41cm, front width 34cm and rear width 23cm. Gas tank comes with tank divider panel and speedo cable. Complete kit also includes a pair of 1983-1995 style ratcheting screw-in gas caps, cast dash panel, dash base, 2240:60 speedo and six-post ignition switch. Tank must be installed with a short style seat. Installation on 1980-1985 models requires drilling holes for the rear mount.

GAS TANKS The zinc-chromate primer finish on some of our tanks is provided for the protection of the tanks during shipment and storage. It is not recommended as a primer finish for paint applications without proper surface preparation. As with any fuel tank, particularly one where custom paint is to be applied, all tanks must be pressure tested, then cleaned with tank cleaner and sealed with tank sealer before painting, to protect the final finish and prevent internal rust during winter storage. Fuel capacity is measured with tank in upright position, angle of parked bike will determine actual capacity of the fuel tank.
