The “Fly By Wire” throttle control system as introduced on the 2008 Touring models replaces the commonly used throttle and idle cables. Installation of higher or wider than stock handlebars requires you to extend the OEM wiring. For this purpose we supply ready to install extensions that plug in between the existing connectors for trouble free operation.The 20″ version is a custom kit with bare ends on one side and an OEM style connector on the other end.
