These stylish steel fenders enhance the look of all 5 Speed Softail 1986-1999. They sit a little over 1 1/2″ (4 cm) lower as the stock fender and feature a seat to fender radius that perfectly matches lowered bikes. Most stock and aftermarket seats will fit, but some seats with a steel base require custom fitment. Fenders are available with or without the mounting bracket for the stock 1973-up taillight and have an early-style reveal stamped in the rear tips. The installation of these fenders requires you to cut 5″ off your stock fender struts. The stock turn signals must be relocated, and the saddlebags on FLSTC cannot be reinstalled due to the shortened fender struts. Models 1997-1999 require modification and/or relocation of the OEM fuse box. Two decorative end caps are supplied with each fender to finish off the shortened struts and add to their overall appearance.
