Bobbed 5.0 Gallon Gas Tank Set for FL 1947-1984 or FX 1971-1974
- Bobbed two piece, 5 gallon gas tank features a left side petcock fitting to accept a late petcock fitting with nut.
- Features 1966-1972 emblem mounts.
- Tank set will accept: stock dash, stock speedometer and gas caps.
- Features welded on emblem mounts which are 1/2″ lower than on replica tanks to accept 1966-72 style emblems.
- Mounts measure 6-5/8″ center to center.
- All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting for correct dash alignment and fuel line fitment.
- Dash will need to be shimmed to achieve correct height during installation.
- It is suggested to clean inside, pressure test, and use a tank sealer.
- We suggest using a Kreem gas tank combokit to clean, condition and seal in order to prevent leaking and corrosion.
- Order gas cap set, tank emblems and petcock. Gas tank does not have holes on the left side to accept shift gate.
- *Note: Carefully check the tank for flaws and fit before painting! Do not grind or sand the joints.
